Due to the water surround the Hudson Bay Lowlands, the temperature is greatly affected. On average however, the summers are cool and moderately short, and the winters are cold and moderately long. The Arctic Lowlands experience warm weather throughout the summer as there tends to be warm winds (-10 degrees C to 10 degrees C). Winters on the other hand can range form -40 degrees C to 0 degrees C, and they are typically snowy.
