Climate
The Western Cordillera receives little precipitation, but its wet in the winter and fall. There are 2 main climates in the Western Cordillera; the Pacific Coast and the mountain ranges. The pacific coast is wet during the fall and winter (maritime climate) and its never typically cold or snowy and summers are mild. Winters in the mountains ranges bring lots of heavy snowfall. The valleys however, are mild with some rain.
