INNUITIAN MOUNTAINS
Climate
The Innuitian Mountains experience very hostile and harsh climate. Slightly more than half of the precipitation falls as snow and because this is a treeless area, the wind has a huge affect. The northwest and the High Arctic are dry with an annual average of 10 cm of precipitation a year. The central Arctic receives about 2-3 times more rain; southern Baffin and northern Quebec can receive up to 50 cm of precipitation.
